Why register?

When you visit FindLaw.com, we ask you to register. By requiring registration, we are able to offer you access to free legal information, daily updated case law, including U.S. Supreme Court decisions, California Supreme Court and Appellate Court decisions, over 50 free email newsletters, including daily opinion summaries, legal headlines and topical newsletters and the Thomson Legal Record, a searchable database combining an attorney's litigation history on Westlaw with the attorney's profile on FindLaw.

Is registration free?

Yes. Registration is free of charge, and gives you access to most areas of FindLaw.com. Certain premium products such as paid newsletters and Westlaw access require payment.

If any payment is required to proceed, you will be clearly warned.

How do I register?

To register, please fill out all of the fields on the registration form. Please note that your e-mail will be your Member ID.

When you have successfully completed the registration, a screen will confirm the registration and allow you into the site.

If you've already registered, simply enter your e-mail and password on our log in page. If you've forgotten your password, please use our password reminder.
